I am leading this campaign to change that. Every rupee raised will go toward the treatment of animals in their care.
Bhargavi co-founded Who Let the Paws Out to give Hyderabad’s stray and injured animals a chance they would otherwise never get. Whether it’s a dog hit on the road or a litter of newborn kittens left to fend for themselves, she and her team answer the call, arrange treatment, and stay with each animal until it recovers.
In the past year alone, the team has brought more than 40 rescued animals to Seven Oaks Multispecialty Hospital in Hyderabad for treatment, from routine care to emergency surgery. Each of those animals arrived with no one to pay their bills. Bhargavi’s team found a way every time.
We, Who Let the Paws Out team, rescue injured, abandoned and sick animals across Hyderabad, from newborn kittens to dogs hit on the road. We treat them, foster them through recovery, and find them homes. Over 72,000 people follow our rescues on Instagram, watching animals like Venus & Shakti go from the street to safety.
Much of our work runs on small donations sent in after each urgent appeal. This campaign will give a steady fund to rely on, so treatment never has to wait for the next appeal to fill.
Hey highlights:
| 40+ | Rescued animals treated at Seven Oaks Hospital in the past year |

Sometimes, the difference between life and death is you.
My name is Ahaan, and I recently graduated from the International School of Hyderabad. Growing up in this city, I saw injured and sick animals on our streets every day and I saw how few people had the means to help them.
Who Let the Paws Out is one of the groups that does. It's an animal welfare and rescue initiative based in Hyderabad, India, founded by four sisters (Powravi, Bhargavi, Priya, and Shreya). Their team rescues injured, abandoned and sick animals across Hyderabad and makes sure each one receives proper medical care. Their work is remarkable, and it is running short of funds.
