Support frontline healthcare workers: Ensure continued honorariums for the ANM and lab technician running the unit. Prevent avoidable illness and loss of life: Back early diagnosis, timely referrals, and consistent care where access is limited.

Campaign Story

We are the ----------------------------------------------, we are raising funds to support Samaritans for the Nation, a grassroots organization bringing essential healthcare to some of the most remote tribal communities along the Chhattisgarh–Telangana border.

Imagine being unwell and having no hospital, clinic, or diagnostic facility anywhere nearby. For families in Pusuguppa, this is a daily reality. Accessing medical care can mean travelling long distances through difficult forest terrain, spending money they may not have, or delaying treatment until a condition becomes much more serious.

For these communities, the Pusuguppa Medical Unit is more than a healthcare facility—it is a lifeline.

Every month, the unit provides care to 250–300 patients, including pregnant and lactating women, children, elderly people, and individuals living with malnutrition, infections, and chronic illnesses. For many families, it is their most dependable source of medical assistance.

But this vital service can continue only if the resources needed to run it are available.

This campaign exists to ensure that this medical unit can continue operating without interruption.

The Challenge: When Healthcare Is Too Far Away

For families in remote tribal settlements, accessing healthcare is not simply a matter of making an appointment. Distance, transportation costs, and limited medical infrastructure can stand between a patient and the treatment they need.

  • Limited access to medical facilities: No nearby hospitals, private clinics, or diagnostic centres.
  • Greater vulnerability: Pregnant women, young children, and elderly people may face serious risks when timely care is unavailable.
  • Delayed treatment: Travel distances and costs can prevent families from seeking medical attention early.

When healthcare is difficult to access, a treatable illness can become a much more serious problem. Consistent local medical support can make a meaningful difference.

Our Solution: Keep the Pusuguppa Medical Unit Running

Samaritans for the Nation operates the Pusuguppa Medical Unit to bring primary healthcare closer to the people who need it.

The unit provides essential services, including:

  • Outpatient consultations and primary medical care
  • Maternal and child healthcare
  • Basic diagnostic services
  • Essential medicines and nutritional supplements
  • Emergency referrals when necessary

Together, we can help ensure that distance and limited resources do not become even greater barriers to essential healthcare.

Your donation is not just a contribution towards operating costs. It is a way to support the continued presence of a medical unit that serves 250–300 patients every month.

Help us raise ₹1,50,000 to keep the Pusuguppa Medical Unit running for the next three months. Donate today and stand with the communities that depend on this vital service.
